Ten Emory graduates receive the graduate certificate in human rights

Ten students who received their degrees from Emory University in the May 2007 Commencement will also receive the graduate certificate in human rights. The certificate, first awarded in 2004, recognizes the academic and research accomplishments of graduate students across the university who have completed substantive work in the area of human rights. The recipients of the certificate for the 2006-2007 academic year are:

Nicole Herther-Spiro
Degree: Juris Doctor
Practicum: Preparation of legal documentation at Gisha: Center for the Legal Protection of Freedom of Movement (Israel) for the use of human rights and humanitarian law in Gaza for use in cases on access to humanitarian aid

Syed Adnan Hussain
